CEO of Soul talks Tower of Power and Obama on Solid Poi Radio
Just having a morning cup of Maui Blend coffee at my favorite coffee shop, Maui Wowi Coffee & Smoothies, this morning…. and suddenly, I found myself on the air with KLAV-1230.
The broadcast was a special remote broadcast of the Solid Poi Radio Show, in Las Vegas.
The air personality, John Jackson, came out of the break with What Is Hip? and we spoke about Tower of Power at the Orleans Hotel & Casino this weekend. Turns out that John is a Bay Area guy and he recognized my name from managing the Tower of Power web site.
I was also sporting a Barack Obama t-shirt, and he questioned me about my reasons for supporting the candidate. It was a great exchange. The Nevada Caucus is being held on January 19th, and everyone is working for a big voter turnout for all candidates.
So, it’s back to my laptop and my Maui blend coffee. Maybe I’ll see you at one of the concerts this weekend.
