Tower of Power’s bassist, Francis ‘Rocco’ Prestia, has been a Las Vegas resident for over a year. When he’s not on the road with Tower, he frequently stops in to hear Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns on Monday nights at The Palms.

Last Monday evening was at The Palms, not just to listen… to sit in.

Rocco stepped in for three songs: Get Yo’ Feet Back on the Ground, What Is Hip?, and Wishing Well. It was a very energetic performance. Rocco rarely sits in with anyone, so it was quite a surprise.

If you’re attending the Tower of Power shows at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, next weekend, maybe you should stay through to Monday night and visit The Palms to hear Santa Fe. Never can tell who might be sitting in.
