Tower of Power releases Great American Soulbook

On December 1st, I had arthroscopic surgery to repair three injuries. A torn rotator cuff A SLAP tear of the labrum (for those that are interested in minute details) Bone spurs I am past the perfunctory 6-8 weeks of physical therapy. Looks like another couple of months. I'm back at work, despite some lingering discomfort and incomplete range of motion. However, there is work to be done. Lots of soul music and Tower of Power - related news to come. Tower of Power Reunion at Fillmore, now a reality
As reported first, on Soul Music News (5/14/08), the Tower of Power message board announced last week that a 40-year celebration will take place at The Fillmore, San Francisco. Plans for the October 18th Fillmore appearance are still being developed. We suggest making your travel plans, the sooner the better.
